Just wanted to say hello and get my first post out of the way. I publish a full color, high gloss, 8x10 advertising magazine that gets directly mailed to about 245,000 homes. Being the owner of that publication, and being able to advertise at an extremely low price I hope this will help give me some traffic.

I have read a ton of posts here and an very glad I found this forum. Any tips for the newb would be appreciated. Also, I was wondering, for those of you with multiple sites and programs, which templates/programs are working best for you?

Thanks all!

Final question (for right now smileys/smiley2.gif), which commision structure would be recommened, the standard 25/12 or setting your own prices? And can i change... see which drugs I am selling then swich over to a set your own price option?

Thanks again!

Hey ktaz01,

Direct mail sounds like it could be a great way to go for you. I hope you'll let us all know the results of your efforts.

You can't switch an account over down the road w/out causing some potential problems, so you might consider opening two accounts, one for SYO pricing and one for $25 + 12%. Request a site for each and see what works best for you.

Good luck and welcome aboard!

How much for the front cover? I'll even rent a B-grade movie star to hock my meds, lol!

I wonder how much Gary Coleman would charge? Hell, he'd probably pay me to put him in the advertisement!

In the newspaper business we would call the measurements of this magazine "Tab Size" versus a "Broadsheet" ie:the Star and Enquirer are Tab size publications and the Wall Street Journal would be called a Broad Sheet....ah those were the days.....NOT!!!!!!! I also would be interested in the PCI rate of your magazine also.....Please Pm me alsosmileys/smiley2.gif
