I just love the new reporting it has done wonders for my sales.
On the new system I have an traffic to sales ratio of around 29%
On the old detailed report I have around 19%.
It seems the the new system has found a whole lot of missing orders of
mine in the system. Horistorically I had a traffic to sales ratio
of 30-40% so I'm happy with 29%. A lot better than 19%!!!smileys/smiley2.gif

The new system:
Does not give you commission until the order is shipped right?
Probably won't make a big diff. in earnings...
did you get the email concerning this?

I'd have to say a 10% increase in conversions can make a HUGE
difference in earnings. For every 100 visitors to the checkout
that is an additional 10 sales.
No I don't seem to have an email about all this. But I did talk
to Eathan the other day on the phone and knew something like this was
comming. I think it is good, the new system. And I only
think it fair we get commission on completed transactions. If the
customer cancels before the order is complete I don't see why I should
get a commission. So I think the new system is fair. The
trick will be getting true, timely and accurate records of accepted
cod's etc back into the system.
I have seen a huge spike in sales with new reporting which does make me
seriously wonder if over the last few days there has been an
under-reporting issue. For no apparant reason sales ratios rearly
jump 10% when you are averaging them out over large enough samples of
data.

So to get our payout, we will have to add our current weeks payment and then go back a few weeks and see what we were paid for those previous weeks, and seeif any more orders have shipped and then add that to the currentweeks payout to get the total payout? Seems pretty time consuming and a good way to miss out on getting paid on orders that aren't paid for the week they are made. I think this system will make it impossible to track what we are owed.
I really think tss has the best system, where orders not shipped in previous weeks are warped into the current week, and you can run a report to see orders received that week to get your payment. I would like to see it done that way. There is no way to make mistakes, and no need to go back to previous weeks to see if more orders have been shipped.

I, for one, have no idea what I'm looking at on that summary page. None of the numbers seem to add up for me.
Eathan, are the reports running properly? In other words, is what they are doing now what they are going to keep doing, and what you guys intended tehm to do? Or are there still bugs in there?

I don't think a new reporting method is going to make your traffic convert better

Speaking of math... Ignore the numbers in orange until Monday.

Actually, we're taking reporting down over the weekend. There are a few too many bits of odd logic remaining, and raising more questions than we answered certainly wasn't the goal.
I'm sorry for all the confusion. Look for improved, clearand accurate reporting Monday afternoon (PST).

The stats were fine like they were WAY BACK WHEN before they started adding all this crap. I for one, do not care how the custoemr paid for the order. I care about the status of the order --where it is in the system, pending doctor, at pharmacy, shipped, completed, commission paid. Nothing else matters.
THE MOST IMPORTANT INFORMATION any OP can provide the affiliate, is which orders they got paid for and which orders are still out there and why. SMIPLE smileys/smiley4.gif
I really do not like being clueless until Monday night not knowing if I sold anything or not. Especialy Monday, the busiest day of the week for me. I am sure most PPCers will say the same.

redex, if I could personally fix the reports before then, you know I would.
Do you get email sales notifications, or did you unsubscribe? I could see about getting you back on notifications... Let me know.

Appreciate all your efforts, Eathan and I know you get the brunt of the bitching and it is totally out of your control. Bitching that YOU do not deserve. Three days without knowing anything is disasterous. I have email notifications enabled. Although the nice letter is extremely verbose, it only tells me one thing...how much I might make if the sale goes through. The email does not tell me what med or what site.

For simplicity the reports need to offer the ability to chose either orders recieved and paid, or orders placed during a certain time frame. Our payouts would be based on the orders received report. That way you don't have to go back to previous weeks to see if more orders were received and see if the commission went up from the amount stated when you were paid.
