Greetings All,

I'm David and am new to the affiliate (and Web)jungle. I'm just getting my site up and going and would like comments. Its a standard IMS site.

Yesterday I got someone to tweek some tags, etc and set it up with google. I also signed up with TrafficBlazer (Go daddy.com)

Also should I sign up with PPC's?? or concentrate getting ranking with Google?

All I know is what I have read on this forum and it seems confusing.

Any help appreciated!! www.RxservicesUSA.com (http://www.RxservicesUSA.com)

THANKS!!!

Hey Dave,

While ppc *can* bring in nice summs of money for those with the know how it is very tricky and your money will burn up fast. Personal I would work on creating additional sites and pages each targeting different terms.

After you have done this for a while some of the stuff you learn will be able to help ya out in ppc.... I don't do ppc and still earn very nice commissions ....

Good luck!

"All I know is what I have read on this forum and it seems confusing" I like your honesty so, the best thing for you to do is read, read, read here and at webmasterworld.com and things will come into focus more......

Also, the DEA has been cracking down on the sales of "controled substants" type drug over the internet (which your site sell) so you may want to think about if you want to continue that or not as well.........

Here's a good starting point to learn more on controled: http://www.dea.gov/pubs/scheduling.html

cigardave,

I would suggest removing all the weight loss meds your program no longer carries (i.e. Didrex, Bontril, etc.) as it just creates problems and coding errors on some of your pages.

Next, you need to work on Search Engine Optimization. You are listing Meta Keywords on your index page that can not be found within the body text of that page. Go with keywords that are going to actual be of help in placement. I didn't look at all of your pages, but I am sure that this is true throughout.

If you are going to offer Free Shipping on all of your meds, then you need to play that feature up. Otherwise charge the $18 and make a little extra. Most webmaster will tell you that it really doesn't make or break the sale anyway.

Best of luck!
