This just appeared on their affiliate page:

Effective immediately (February 20/04), to speed up payments to our established affiliates, we are implementing a minimum balance threshold of $200.00 before a payment will be delivered.

to speed up payments to our established affiliates ==

does not that mean that they are slowing it down ?
ahh, sh*t, now I need to send more traffic there or dump them

ps: not that they ever payed under 200 :) but why did not I receive that memo ?

Who cares for the policies of deadbeat merchants? Is anyone here still promoting them?

It does not mean we're slowing down in any way - more and more affiliates are doing very well - affiliate sales are reaching an all time high.

We want to reward affiliates with decent balances - by spending less time on those will smaller balances we can get checks out faster.

PS - We're thinking about offering an affiliate promotion next month, possibly raising certain product payouts up to 40% for a certain period of time - stay tuned.

no offense, but Imho any balance is a decent balance... I will never understand why should someone hold back anything over $25 .... while others send out checks of $5-10 ...

no one has a $200 trigger in the industry, other sites send out $3-5-10 checks which is extreme... but anything over $25 is not fair, especially if you print & send yourselves

and just for the record: yes I still promote them, and they pay .. but that $200 sucks, since I send little traffic there right now resulting in <$150 a month on average ...

Yep , i should be careful with my word "decent balance". We mean that 80% of all affiliates have balances over $200 during a pay period - however, its the other 20% that we spend most of our time on.

Those with higher accounts are quite easy to work with - you guys for the most part will submit only serious affiliate questions, you know how the basics of the system works (cookies, etc.). You won't complain if you get 10 hits but no sale. We have setup all the fedex stuff for your accounts, check issuing with our bank, etc.

At first we thought we need to help the small guys to help them build their affiliate programs - but obviously, more competition isbound to come about and we need to be better at paying our better performers and rewarding them instead of making *everyone* angry like we have in the past.

thx

But did you guys notice an other change now ?

yes some prices suck ... but when did they change it ?

and who did that ? turnkey or HMU ?

OK raise prices, then they buy somewhere else ... but changing prices and have negative sales is not normal at all ..
how is it possible ?

Since the new prices suck, I just put 12-15% + $10 shipping on all my meds ...
then they raised 20+ so some prices went negative ... this is ridiculous ... can I cry ?

I WANt TO CRY !

Still world_affiliate you should pay balances that are under $200.00.

I don't want to promote your pharmacy anymore, so please send me my balance and close my account.

ID=6058 My Balance is $169.00 please do not steal that under the pretense that's under $200.00. I promoted your pharmacy in good faith, you can't change the rules just like that.
Thanks

Mike
