Does anyone have a link to a Canadian or American web design firm that understands the OP business and has completed a few projects. I am working with a design company that is finding it difficult because it's an industry they are not familiar with.
Any links would be appreciated.

Anyone who ventures into internet businesses should be capable of designing a website. If you suck at html, you will most likely suck at this biz too. Pick a business you know something about besides testing prophylactics.
Webmasters don't have to be affiliates but affiliates have to be webmasters.

...I hired the right firm to manage my web operations. It's not always necessary to be a wizard webmaster to have a profitable web operation.

Until that firm realizes they don't need you to do the business.smileys/smiley2.gif

Guess I'm an exception. I suck a$$ at html but have made a fortune in affiliate marketing. That's what hiring a staff is for - grunt webmaster work.
It's shocking to me that some folks actually say they sit there and change links on hundreds of pages. Surely you are making enough to hire some help and expand your business. To be the marketer, seo, sirte designer, sys admin, and business man, is really a poor way to run a business. Folks here are way to smart not to develop a system for growth.

...agreed and the design firm is publicly traded and has signed a non-compete clause. All is good...

I agree with iggy. spending days changing links is like the ceo emptying garbage cans every week- which reminds me it's trash night. smileys/smiley5.gif

LOL! Wonder if Jeff Bezos spends his days working on the Amazon.com site design :)
Seriously though, why not turn your one man shop into an actual business? Hire some people and free your time up to money making activities.

Be careful if you hire people though... they could just learn all your tricks in the affiliate industry, notice your driving a flash new car and set up their own "affiliate" business.
I know guys who have left companies they have worked for with CD roms full of all the companies IP to make it easy to setup their own businesses or make working with new companies really easy.
If possible employ many people who can do little bits of your business functionality and don't let one person get too much of an idea how everything operates.
But then I've just been an IT professional for 14 years and are paranoid!!! smileys/smiley2.gif

OK, So I am just a lowly newbie who hacks away at my own sites. I started with FrontPage 2002...easy to learn. Now I see limitations. Those of you who do your own sites, what are moste of you actually using? DreamWeaver? Adobe GoLive? What program will allow you to make some nice looking site pages with out them all looking like they came fresh from MS Paint or MS Excell?
Any suggestions or thoughts?
Thanks.

Photoshop and Illustrator for layout. HomeSite for HTML.

Thanks, It looks like PhotoShop is common to all and then maybe Dreamweaver. Thanks again for the points.
