Wow!

Overture is part of Yahoo! - wonder if they will pull the plug too. I have a feeling google will be making some adjustments soon. At least making the ads read differently

I wonder for how long the google adwords will last. Google already doesn't have OP ads on google.co.uk. I think revenues from OP sites are significant chunk of money even for google or yahoo but they are willing to let go of it, means they think risk-reward ratio is against them.

Where does it state the Y! is suspending OP ads?

MWS Brian-

What is your take on this? If search engines don't allow us to advertise your products online, how do we get our name out there? Traditional ads/offline only?

This can't be happening....

I just searched for "ambien" and all ads appear to be running smoothly.

You don't "threaten" something like that. Either you pull them or you don't . . . a few days later is not what it is about. Nowhere in hell does it say anything about Yahoo pulling OP ads.

Relax, Shark Attack, it's just a bump in the road. Once the DEA weeds out the phent and ambien, things will return to normal. (sans phent and ambien :) )

Yahoo sucks for traffic anyways. The only people that use it are the me@yahoo.com freeloaders.

That just means google results are worth even more now...
