stock ticker software

can anyone refer me to a site that has a windows based stock ticker that is in real time. I would prefer something free but I would like it to be software and not something web based. Thanks

For anything other than delayed quotes, you will likely have to pay. I think that those are NASD / NYSE rules. All free quotes that I have ever seen are 20 minute delayed. A good source for where a stock is trading on the ISLD ecn is their book viewer. You can find it at www.isld.com (http://www.isld.com)

Just open up an ameritrade account, that's what I use.

Ameritrade has a level 2 ticker thats pretty good.

I just opened a sharebuilder account although I am slowly adding deposits to it and I have not bought anything yet. I will transfer over to another firm once I have more money built up. The stock thing is pretty much new to me so I am learning the ropes. I want to get in now though because eventually it must go up right?


I think Palatin Technologies, Inc (PTN) will be a good one to get. They are thecompany that are making that new "viagra" like spray med that will not be out for many years (2008 maybe). The spray is going to be huge because unlike the pills you do not have to be sexually aroused in order to feel the effects plus I think it is suppose to work almost instantly.


I will also buy up some of the satellite radio stock because it makes senses that it will go up.

My next project is going to be a visual stimulation device (or VSD) where amale just looks at this"image" on their computer screen and bam, just like that,he becomes sexually aroused.
