I spoke to my Google Ad Rep today (the one they assign you if you spend $10,000+ a month on PPC) to see if they are going to follow Yahoo! and drop OP ads.
Granted, he isn't the top of the food chain at Google, but he assured me that they handle a very wide range of pharmacy ads, from manufacturers to viagra sites, and the money is so good that they dont plan on dropping it any time soon. Of course, he's just a Ad rep/editor, but he did tell me that because of our sales volume we'll know with enough advanced warning to be able to meet and plan with our rep and optimizers at Google for an acceptable campaign. He handles some of the largest OP ad campaigns, so he'll know before anyone else, which means I'll know, which means you'll all know.
I'll post if the winds change at all.

rxrob, on the advertise with google page, where they have adwords as well as the old premium program, if you used the old premium program its the ad rep from that.
I'll ask how you guys can get hooked up with one.

I must say when my ad goes into the old premium spot at the top of the page, my orders double! Google wanted everyone to self manage their own campaigns and did away with ad reps.
Gee RxRob, ya shudda got the towel at least.

Anybody want to let me put a link on their PR8 and PR9 pages so that I can move up a little in the SE's? I'm totally serious!

Smokey - do yourself a favor and install the Google toolbar. It is very helpful as far as seeing how your site ranks and how other sites rank with Google. Besides that, you can see how other top 10 sites are getting their high ranking by checking out their backward links.

IMO this is an essential tool for any webmaster. smileys/smiley14.gif

If you use the toolbar to check PR google has a log of all the sites you visit and what you do.
I personally only use the toolbar when I need it.
What is the point of buying each domain under a fake name and using
multiple hosts to hide your trail, when you are using the toolbar and
telling google they are all yours anyway?
