The quote below is from an article I found. The link on the bottom is the whole article. If Uncle Sam focuses his atttention next on IOP, there wont be much left. Even though the post is old, dont think for a minute they are not trying to work on squeezing IOP's out.

The actions are the latest effort by the United States to deal with the explosive growth of electronic commerce in prescription drugs. American officials said they planned to use the Thai operation as a model for cooperation with law-enforcement agencies in other countries with online pharmacies.

International is the only way to go still. As I said, the key is do not ship to where you live.

Right! If the pharmacists get busted, that's their deal... I'll be half-way around the globe.

Seareeus, have you found any good Int'l programs?

Good $$ in that area of the globe. They have some weird rules about delivery/ shipmentin certain areas though. Europe is not like (at least not at this point) the US where here all states fall under federal laws. There each area has its own standards. Good luck in your new job.smileys/smiley1.gif

The NHS (uk) is soon going to launch a biggie (here in the uk the government don't like patients pestering doctors for prescriptions cos it takes time...anyhow I aint gonna give a full ramble...but it will be on the lines the fda/fbi/dea blah who have just outlawed.

I can call a doctors receptionist and get a prescription already, I aint seen a doctor for 12-months.

It will be so much easier to email the form, lol......so yes a few months down the line when it becomes "politically right" the goverment will have "second thoughts"

The average politician in the uk has the iq of a snicker, (sorry snickers, no offence)

Their will be no money in uk prescriptions, nhs charges are approx œ6.50 (approx $15.00) for any medication for any patient.

even free for a low-income family or the elderly

Except for some "enjoyment drugs" some call them lifestyle, even then the price is only twice that.

Ok embarassment may come into it, but the average Brit will not pay US prices, the will go to the docs in a mask lolsmileys/smiley16.gif

Many countries in europe have similar set ups

Don't bank on europe guys

heh ... i bounced an offer off 2 months ago ... i am too antisocial for that stuff ... (on bad days i might redirect my mail to /dev/null )

on the other hand since i am european i do not want to run a program that is based in europe .....

be careful, the E.U. can be more aggressive with pharmacy laws and controlleds ....
