Ever since the new order form went live, my sales have dropped immensely.....coincidence?, I think not. There has to be some connection, there's no other way to explain it. Anyone else experiencing asales drop off?

After looking again at the new form, I can see how some people might get there and not notice the "new customer" buttonthen click off. At first glance, it could appear that the order form is forreturning/reordering customers only. Couldmoving the new customer button above the return customer area help?, I wonder.

Also,I think it would help ifthe "Login ID"had (email address) next to it.

Thoughts MPLLC?

I just looked at this? I agree it is confusing. Theyneed tobe swapped.

You need to funnel people towards a sale at all times. This could bring down conversions.

I have noticed a huge drop in re-orders. Almost zero. Sales are down too.

Something is wrong but I have no idea what is going on.

Hey guys,

Mine are almost non-existant, as well. I am sure Howard and Aaron, will make the necessary changes.

Have a nice weekend.

Good suggestion on the button swap. We actually had the button for new orders on top, but when you hit enter trying to log in it defaults focus to the top button on the form, so it was causing problems for return customers. We are open to suggestions. We could use a Javascript funtion to move focus depending on whether or not someone has clicked inside the textbox, but it may not work accross all browsers.

Another idea would be to default to the contact form as though its a new order and just have an area that says "return customer can log in here".

Or, we could make the new order a link instead of a button so it doesnt default click. Thats probably the quickest solution, make it an image that looks just like a button and is a link, move it up top so it's right there.

------------

Regarding order volumes. Overall, total orders are UP from last week and credit card declines are down by 6%, which is a 6% increase in processed orders.

We are still optimizing bugs and barriers based on your feeback and customer feedback, so order volumes should continue to climb.

The new order as a link (click here)instead of a button, at the topwill be better.

This is confusing in my opinion "Return Customers and Reorder Customers please log in below:"

Perhaps only one "Reorder Customers please log in below"

I don't think the new order form affected my sales.

Hi everybody,

I have looked at our numbers company wide. I have compared them both before and after the new order form went live. I can honestly say that we have not had any decrease in production. I have heard mixed reviews on the order form. Some have told me their production has shown a significant increase; while others have expressed the opposite. I dont know what to make of it. The stance we are taking is that its not perfect and your suggestions will only serve to make it better. I believe Aaron is working diligently on tweeking the form because your suggestions were not only valid but helpfull. I just wanted to share the data with everybody to assure you that the new order form has not harmed our overall production. We will be watching conversions and other statistics over the next few weeks to see the full impact of the new form.
