I have to do way too much babysitting and nursing my orders through at this place. I have more than 4000 domains and can't spend time teaching folks how to run a program. I am moving on!

smileys/smiley5.gif I don't understand. If you are doing your own CS you definitely need to pass the baton to the OP. THhat is way too much work for any affiliate. If you are constantly monitoring your sales and shipments, and are attempting to fix every problem, them your statement makes sense, but why would you want to? To me, that is like running a business on the sole premise of looking for ways to save money instead of looking for ways to make it.
(the previous comments are only the opinions of redex and should not be taken to offense)

what's the point in thousands of domains?

I don't do my own CS but orders that sit for 48 hours without a doctor looking at them is way too long.I have had orders sit with no attention and then I see that the customer has checked several times and cancelled the order..no doubt to buy elsewhere. I do monitor my stats frequently...but thats all I expect to have to do..monitor not remind. CC card denials are not followed up on...more lost customers. Reorder notices are sent only to have the customer reorder and the orders put on hold. Constant surveilance is not a way to save money, it's a way to save customers. With all the competition on the internet customer service is a MUST. I expect a company to give the folks I bring to the door top notch service, if they don't somebody else will.

OP is just one part of my business...the short answer is traffic.

God bless you.
4000 domains @ 300 domains/server = 13 dedicated servers
unless you are just aliasing a few sites to hundreds of domain names.
Wow, I couldn't imagine the administation on that kind of operation.

RxRob there are people out there who own several hundred thousand domains. They send the traffic to PPC search engines and take a cut out of what you pay to PPC engines for your ads. They host all those domains on very few IPs, several hundred thousand of them on each IP, so there is no need for 13 dedicated servers here.

Sounds like Ultsearch. Read an article once saying he makesmillions a month. I question that somewhat, but still not a bad business. Must have lots of haters!

Heck it it were not for word checkers, you could not decipher what I write. Heck I even found one to check my spelling when I post on boards like this. And you can bet your sweet butt that I will use it before I post this message.

The problem with spell checkers is they don't detect improper use of homonyms:
I went two McDonald's, bought too hamburgers and ate them to.
affect and effect still have me stumped smileys/smiley17.gif

Dewie, the effect is what affects you. If you are not affected by the effect, then the effect had little or no affect on you.

redex.
The effect of your post affected my bladder so much I had to go!!!!!
To me, what is important, no matter how it is said, as long as I understand, that is what counts. That is what communications is all about. Unfortunately, my customers demand more!
Now for your lesson for today:
Can I get you a glass of water? WRONG!
May I get you a glass of water? Right!
Can implies you can physically do it.
May implies that you have my permission.
The above lessonwas brought to you by myfifth grade teacher xx years ago! OK, OK I had to put xx because my math does't go that high.
