i dunno what's up. I can log in through netscape.. but the Buy now links still are not working.

home pages are working fine, but the product links are not. It takes excruciatingly long time to download the order page. It's been like this for a couple hours or longer I think, and I have no clue when the server will be working normally. I have a nice traffic today, and yet orders have been halted. It is frustrating. Server stability is the most crucial issue for our business.

Now it is working. I am not sure if the problem has been permanently fixed though.

It was a damn bad sector on the hard drive of the DB server, which runs on a mirrored raid. The bad sector was enough to make the data not readable but not enough to automatically drop the drive out of the array. Anyway, we pulled the bad drive and everything is back online, no data loss or corruption of course, we keep realtime backups in triplicate.
