In case you missed it, this is from the May 18 San Diego Union Tribune:
S.D. judge sentences couple in Internet pharmacy case
</span></font>
A Florida couple who ran a fraudulent Internet pharmacy using drugs
from an illegal San Diego operation were sentenced to jail time and
fined this week.
</font>
A federal judge in San Diego sentenced Stephen
Lewis to two years in custody and a $5,000 fine for conspiracy to sell
unapproved drugs and conspiracy to launder money.
</font>
Pamela Lewis was sentenced to serve five months in custody followed by
five months of home detention and to pay a $2,000 fine for conspiracy
to sell unapproved drugs.
</font>
The couple, along with a third partner, Bill
Naron, operated MyRxForLess out of Lake Worth, Fla. The MyRxForLess Web
site allowed patients to buy medications without a prescription and
falsely stated the medications were lawfully provided from a reputable
Mexican pharmacy.
</font>
In fact, Stephen Lewis had others buy the
pharmaceuticals in Mexico and ship them to customers. The company also
paid for monthly shipments of fake Viagra and Cialis from Mark
Kolowich, a San Diego resident running his own illegal pharmaceutical
business, which were sent to customers.
</font>
MyRxForLess sold between $1 million and $2.5
million worth of pharmaceuticals during its two-year operation,
according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
</font>
The judge also ordered the Lewises to forfeit
their bank account holdings and proceeds from the sale of their house,
approximately $150,000 in total.
</font>
The couple pleaded guilty in January. An attorney for the couple did not respond to a request for comment.
</font>
Noran, the remaining partner in the business, is
scheduled to be sentenced in June. He has pleaded guilty to conspiracy,
conspiracy to launder money and criminal forfeiture.
</font>
Mark Kolowich, the local provider, previously
pleaded guilty to the charges against him and was sentenced to 51
months in prison and required to forfeit cash proceeds.

>>>MyRxForLess sold between $1 million and $2.5 million worth of pharmaceuticals during its two-year operation
There were some affiliates making big money from them every month and they say that myrxforless sold just $1-2.5 million worth of stuff in 2 years. smileys/smiley5.gif Offshore credit card processing and bank accounts, I'd guess. So these folks are set for life once they come out of jail.

Yeah, they'll be set for life. A little sore in the rear, but they will be rich. http://www.rxaffiliateforum.com/smileys/smiley18.gif

The people being convicted of crimes are those 1. importing unapproved FDA products and 2.
getting involved with illegal generics. I don't think Jude is going
to be convicted of (or charged with?) anything.

I'm more interested in what happens to him in a legal mess.

BEWARE-Jude Lacour and JIVE NETWORK are operating illegally AGAIN. They are still selling medications that are highly restricted and have disquised the company as a Aircraft Rental company. They are operating the following sites. rxwebdrugstore.com, realprescriptions.com, rxwebmeds.com and also operate safetrustprocessing.com and securebillingsystems.com for the billing aspects. STAY AWAY affiliates!
It is a dangerous relationship. They have changed the ownership address over to a partner and updated their sites whois files to reflect Secure Medical's PO Box in Arizona to take the heat off. Also, the articles you read are about SafetrustProcessing.com and securebillingsystems.com in threads like Shark Patrol and at rxaffiliateforum.com are all written by them and for them. THEY ARE NOT INDEPENDENT POSITIONS! All affiliate's customers whos orders were filled through affiliation with epharmacist.com, pillstore.com, instantpills.com and pillvalue.com are now being solicited by Secure Medical in Tempe, AZ owned by John Rao because Jive sold the recoreds to them to provide liquidity to start the new sites in another location.
John Rao and company are also under investigation for tax fraud. All I can say is BEWARE. There are only 2 real fullfillment companies and they are both under investigation, Secure Medical and Safetrust Processing. Neither of which are operating legally in the states they are located. The statuses in which they incorporated have revoked the standings but they dont bother to track them down after the revokation. Sorry to break the bad news to all of you.

How can someone sure it's not accurate.

It's not accurate because Jude isn't an idiot.
1) the government (secret police no less) of the world's only super
power would quickly deduce the deception...and that'd lead to charges
(racketeering? money laundering? organized crime?) & a likely
conviction. It would be hard to defend oneself if one was
ignorant enough to pull such a boneheaded manuever! (Jude isn't
stupid nor is he criminal, in my humble opinion).
2) if he WAS to decide he wanted to cross over to the "dark side" --
I'm sure there would have been a little bird that would've told those
of us who were/are "big dogs" in the industry?
* Jude got where he is by being intelligent, and a bit of a
visionary. he managed to leverage the affiliates he had from
KwikMed over to Pillstore; and from Pillstore to PillAgent.
* Why
wouldn't he migrate his current list of affiliates (especially the
KNOWN affiliates who generate tons of traffic/sales for him) to act as
the "frontmen" for him?
to boil it down even more: if he WAS going to be "balls-out" and
risk it all -- he'd likely have given a few of us a clear signal that
we could send our current customer base to him via some sort of
tunneling. in that way he could stay out of the light & let
others take the risk.
Jude is brilliant at leveraging the power of affiliate marketing.
(Building a downline affiliate army.)
...which is waaaaay different than attempting to do the whole shebang oneself!
Ever heard of --
rxwebdrugstore.com, realprescriptions.com, rxwebmeds.com ?
</font> No.
Do they have an affiliate program at
all?
No.
Do the websites themselves (or if you're
more technically minded, do the DNS servers, the web hosts or the mail
hosts) reflect the quality that Jude has invested in
before?
Hell No. (cheesy RxMedical web templates & far inferior IT infrastructure).
*heh* A few days ago (when the message was first posted) I forwarded it off to my contact(s) at
Jive. We had a chuckle about how outrageously erroneous it was/is.
So I'm confident that that the report/post is NOT</span> correct in their conclusions!
But it was definitely
entertaining!
(Gotta love the power of letting everyone in the peanut
gallery post their opinions, thoughts, hopes, dreams [& nightmares]
as if it were factual! viva la internet.)

If I post something wrong about chopsticks on ripoffreport.com...... Does this mean chopsticks is BAD?????
Absolutely NOT...!
And I would say that its not a hard time for OP industry .... you can get affiliation for any drug yourequire (no matter controlled or non controlled).... People like PillAgent and MPLLC are justa small partof this industry. But the fact is It has a "never say die" approach. People and program comes n goes stealingyour coulpe of hundred bucks or one weeks payment. You get frustrated and think about quiting from this business but THE MONEY $$$$smileys/smiley2.gif$$$behind, will not allow you to quit .... infact neither you nor people like Jude. They or their program will come back and you again love to do business with them.
dont mind chops...it is just an e.g. smileys/smiley2.gif
