The politicians are all over this topic right now and my sales are SKY ROCKETING right now. They're all going for the re-election and I think the drug ticket is going to get some of them there.

Bush even said something about wanting to sign a new law before the end of the year. Most of what I saw was all about the seniors and medicare but this is interesting stuff that they are tucking into the discussions too

thanks for the post

Guys, it might not be such a bad idea to push this bill. Certification would mean an end to DEA raids. Does anyone support the idea of a PR campaign to let the public know about the certification bill.

Something along the lines, Help us get all internet pharmacies certified by the FDA, support Bill HRxxxx by clicking here and sending a note to your senator.

Anybody got any ideas on this????

These are both excellent bills according to my non-legal eyes. I will forward these to our attorney immediately and ask for interpretations and recomendations.

This isn't as good for OP's as you might think (although it could be worse).

What the first bill is inferring is that the fulfillment pharmacies and doctorsmust be licensed in every state. This is impractical at best, impossible at worst. They are basically paving the way for state DA'sto come and clean up shop for all OP's, controlled or non-controlled.

Icollect - We need to know what is involved in certification. It may be very expensive. A lot to consider.

It maybe, but right now we're losing one to two pharmacies a week. If the buisness were to be made legitimate by law thru certification, there may be up front cost, but they would be offset in the long run by cheaper cost. Wholesale on a lot of these medications are pennies, currrently our cost is extrodinary as compared to wholesale. If true wholesalers are working in a competetive market, cost are going to fall thru the floor.

I read the law differently, they have to be certified in the state they operate. Don't you think it's better to operate within the frame work within the law,"clean up shop", rather than waiting for them to shut you down or worse yet kick your door in and take everthing you own. Under federal law if applied all money, property that was derived from your operation. if determined to be unlawful distribution of a controled substance, could be consficated. If you think your immune check out the legal definition of conspiricy. I'm not saying that it would come down that way, but it could. So I'd spend the time and money to make sure that I'm not going to be spending all I have in legal fees or worse.

I think you'll find we have in friends in congress, However We are easy targets for the FDA and the DEA.We need to garner publicsupport for our cause. The lawmakers want us to exist and if we get the support of the people, we'll get legislation. If we keep letting the DEA being our PR department, we're not going to be around long.
