I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to Sam for getting us set up so quickly. As many of you know I have been a long time member of the forum and have been in the industry for over 6 years with my own site. With this in mind I also have been with many programs over the years from the grand father USA Prescription to the most recent Jive. With all that said I’m going to take my programming skills and what I have learned over the good experiences and bad ones (just a few not mention) to offer a program that fits every affiliate needs. Here are a few highlights.

I read your post as if you were asking about payments for a particular sub-affiliate - Moeny Johnson. I was wondering how he felt about having his name plastered on the forum. Oops. Combination of a lack of caffeine for me, and your spelling. :o

Is it typically practice to change someone's tier back two weeks? SSO has me in the negative, I owe them money. Doesn't it seem fair to have the date you change some one's tier the starting date of those profits?

SSO has been very unfair to me, for the record I like DJ and Chris very much.
I also liked their Affiliate manger untill she forgot what it was like being the advertiser.
I did my E-mails and got no help, so I am venting here.

I got paid for one week out of three for advertising, she back tracked two weeks ON THE FOURTH WEEK all my base prices to tier one. So now I owe them Money....I need to spend more money advertising to go back to the positive and start making money again with them?? They kept their profits in their pockets for the lousey sales I did make, but can't send me my money for advertising.

I am wondering how many out there are in my situation?

What I want is for them to change my base prices the same day SHE changed me to tier one..... otherwise how the hell would I know to raise my retail prices?

Most OP'S give a month to see if an Advertiser can fill the quota, then make a decision to down grade them.

This post is written because I have not got any help besides the affiliate manager's arguement that she was fair? Fair to them but not to me, you don't treat your Affiliates that way!

Well, I hope they don't do it to me or anyone else (and fix it up for you, as well), at least until they iron out their issues.

I would love to start sending them the volume they want, but the sizable backlog on top of the late wire has crippled my efforts.

The affiliate manager, Robyn, is one of the nicest I've ever dealt with, very responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. She reminds me of Laura Hunt from IHC. :)

Anyway, the program has great potential and would hate to see it fall apart at the seams.:(

this was done with Chris's approval. So how did I end up as a spammer <I hate Spammers>.

I truly believe this was a way to terminate my affiliation and never pay me for the sales that were shipped. People that run SSO know how Spammers use other peoples Domain's for their spamming. The reason why I am writing this on the forum is for others to know their true colors.I absolutely feel your pain. And I have a gut feeling that your belief is correct: I'm confident that Chris is a hustler.

I had that opinion of him as soon as he tried to "move the goal posts" on me in terms of pricing, commissions and the Square Trade certified pharmacy seal.

He's still never paid me a penny.

Did you see an actual copy of the supposed spam email sent out?
(if not, request it from Spamhaus yourself)

Who was the affiliate (at least their affiliate ID)?
(track'em down in Google to find out what site's they have or what blogs/other marketing methodologies they use to promote the same affiliate ID).

What course of action has SSO taken to track down that rogue affiliate/spamming ass?

And, under what rationalization does Robyn give an apology for unabashedly/categorically/unilaterally terminating your websites due to spam that, she admits, she doesn't believe was sent by you or yours?

She just ACTS nice.

Kinda like a politician who, "strongly disagrees with his esteemed colleague".
She'll be polite in the act of deception.

(She couldn't be all that nice & working for a used car salesman like Chris. Professional affiliate managers don't work for those type of hustlers.)

She's blowing smoke up your ass... and, violating the terms of the agreement you both entered into.

That agreement can be terminated by either party at any time.
But they can't uniliaterally decide to not pay you commissions due you because of actions, that they admit in writing, probably weren't initiated by you.

They've placed Spamhaus above their agreement/ongoing business relationship with affiliates... (but that should, of course, not negate their legal/contractual commitment to pay you for commissions generated previously!) Doubly true if the spammy emails in question (exhibit A evidence!) *NEVER* showed YOUR affiliate ID.

Sigh. I usually try to keep these things between me and the affiliate, and not post private issues on a public board. But things change once I'm attacked. Bess is posting partial information here, and also has absolutely no idea whether I fought for her or not. For those of you who know me, you know that my eyes glaze over the second any technobabble is brought up. I have no idea whether an affiliate ID was inserted or not. I don't know that Bess knows that either. All I know is that we are currently listed on Spamhaus because of one of her domains, and that we will not risk losing our hosting over 1 affiliate. As a matter of fact, I did try to save her affiliation; I asked if it was ok to leave her branded order forms and just remove the hosted domains. I was told no. As you can all read in the email she publicly posted here, I have indicated the possiblity of someone else doing spamming using her domain (NOT and affiliate ID guys; we don't have affiliate ID's), but from our end it does not matter. We will take whatever steps are necessary to keep our hosting. Not only that, but we she still has full access to her backend. She can track all of her orders. I did this specifically so that she WOULDN'T think that we're cheating her out of money. Do you really think that we'd go through all this trouble for someone who sends a couple of orders a week? While we're airing dirty laundry, I may as well go into her other issue with us. She was placed on a special program, with the requirements that her volume would be sending us 500 orders or more a week. We never saw higher than 20 orders in any given week. I let her remain in the program for 3 weeks. When the orders averaged somewhere in the neighborhood of 15-17 (I'm talking all orders guys - including declines, etc), I removed her from the program and reset her to the appropriate tier. She was paid the week I changed her on the higher program. Following weeks were at the lower tier. She and I had already had discussions about her sales; I'd given her recommendations to increase her sales, but her response was that she didn't have time to do anything about it. If you were spending thousands on PPC (like she said to me she did), and didn't see orders coming in, do you continue to throw good money out the window?

Chopsticks - you truly disappoint me. I don't talk nice; I'm honest, I'm fair. I'm not blowing smoke up anyone's ass.

BTW, I'll let Smokey address the technical side of this issue with Spamhaus; he understands it, he's the one who's been communicating with Spamhaus, and it was under his direction that we removed her from the server.

Chop Sticks,
I saw nothing but the E-mail Robyn sent me, I showed my concern that I was treated unfairly to Robyn and CC DJ and asked them to forward it to Chris. Did they do it? I have no clue. It really hurt to change my base prices back two weeks and put me in the negative, this was part one. Terminating my affiliation is part two.

The only way I get a response is when I post it here, so sorry SSO if I vented here. You should have taken better care of me and your other affiliates. You kept the sales I made, then terminated me.

Why don't you ask RxEasy or Rxresources how many sales I send them a week?????? I go way over your elite program of 500 a week, because they have decent prices, they add the shipping to our profits and their templates CONVERT better than yours.

That's funny. You sell over 500 controlled prescriptions a week.

Where does it say I ADVERTISE controls? I am a starving ADVERTISER, just an advertiser. Advertising costs money, they need to pay me for my advertising costs.
