There is a thread at Webmasterworld
http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum3/17653.htm
I have a couple sites that rank very nicely for keywords that have dropped out of the index in the last few days, all are hosted at Godaddy.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Yes, moved my sites that I had on godaddy yesterday.
All sites show no google cache and the desciption is now www.thesite.com (no title or description is serps)
Godaddy really screwed up royally. What webmaster wants their sites hosted somewhere that google can't even crawl?

F**K !!!
I have a web site, which is absolutely clean and rank very well last time. It fell off index 3 days ago, I didn't know the reason .. now I know the reason smileys/smiley7.gifIt is one, which hosted with godaddy and if I look at whois.org - it tells:
"Connection refused connecting to whois.godaddy.com".
They have a big problem, I think :(

hehe, we have a few servers. I like to spread out sites on different "class c's" though.
Only reason I had a few sites on gdaddy was i had already registered the domains there. smileys/smiley7.gif

I also read there are a couple other hosts this is happening with, anyone want to recommend a host for a busy site?? I usually use pretty cheap hosting, but this site does really well and I want it somewhere that I absolutely won't have to worry.

Hello All...This is my first post... smileys/smiley1.gif
I use Alertrahttp://www.alertra.com (http://affiliates.alertra.com/referer.php?referer_id=116586)to monitor my sites (HTTP & HTTPS)& mail server (POP & SMTP). It is a great service that helped me allot.
You can try out their service for 30 day for free...Hope this helps :)

I would never put a million dollar business on a $10 host. No way no how. Just ask Bob Vila. LOL

I've learned my lesson Redex! most of my sites are just fine on cheaper hosting, but there are those few that make big money and I will never make the same mistake twice.

I host my sites with pair.com and futurequest. Both have no problem with google and provide near 100% uptime.

phalaris - Does Futurequest operate like Pair so that you can add new domains under yourplan for a setup fee and $1 per month?

There is a $25 fee to add additional domain, I have never done it though. Check this for details http://www.futurequest.net/Services/IR/
For multiple domains Pair is cheaper. Add 5 domains in a month to your account and there isa 50% discount on usual $15 set-up fee per domain and you get dedicated IP for each domain at $1/month.
