Does anyone use the Yahoo service for about $500 bones a yr (or something like that)...
If so - do people find it worth it?

There are other services that have contracts with yahoo, msn, google.. so i was told, that guarantee x amount of unique hits for x amounts of dollars. The company that tried and tried to get me to use their services was sbc yahoo, and they were well aware of what i do.
IMO stick with seo it's alot cheaper and the payoff is much more profitable.

The new seo methods seem to be starting your own blog and then spamming the shit out of it. google love it and yahoo is starting to like it too. All these damn trash rankings fucking suck. I really have no clue anymore.

Yes, besides beign upset about my rankings personally, I start to realize more and more, that whatever I search for, I have to wade myself thru an always growing pile of shit.
Parked pages, blogs about nothing, linkfarms. Relevant results on ANY search engine are the past.
I tend to use ask.com and wikipedia nowadays.
I receive a some traffic from ask.com and they land on relevant pages, the problem is that they are information seekers, not buyers ...
