You want to be in buisness next month it's time to join your own club and become self governing. Immediately form a committee to perform the following functions. I understand there is some resistance from cowboys, but if they want their voice to be heard it's time to get busy. Do you really want drugstore.com telling you what you buisness model is, or 10 years from now watching the 80 billion dollar market you could have had. All it takes is an agreement to form the comittee and immediate action to show we're serious. We should involve the political community so they can buy off on the final draft. Nothing short of this action is going to stop them. It's real simple, it protects everybody and makes the DEA look good because they reigned us in. Foriegn ops will co-operate also or we'll help customs bust the imports.

1. Code of ethical behavior

2. Appropiate Dispensing Of Controlled Medication

3.Appropiate Dispensing Of NonControlled Medication

4. Appropiateness of spamming medications

5. Incorporate the establishment of a patient doctor relationship

6. Sanctions for inappropiate behavior including public sanction and the reporting of illegal activity to the DEA on the part of OPS and patients.

7. OPs must pay their debts, there are a lot of ops that go out of buisness and screw affiliates and patients, and others that just take patients money, this has got to stop. In the real world doctors must pay their debts or they get sanctioned by medical boards, it has to apply here. If a slime bag doesn't pay his bills or screws patients he's out.

8.The establishment of a board of ethics to oversee enforcement and sanctions of the committee.

9. OPS post in the forum the final members of the initial committee, invitations should be sent to all the major players. Equal representation should be obtained so that no company gains an unfair advantage.

A acceptable op should step forward to handle communications to insure fair establishments of the OP STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES MANUAL.

Most of all, you guys have got to bring political, legal and market stability back or we're all screwed.

Hey guys suck it up, Pick up this light load so you can go to sleep and not worry about your door getting kicked in. This is all they want is to show that you are not cowboys, but truly the innovators that you are.You guys are much more than blips like Ebay where you can buy a rubber frog, you guys have discovered a really meaniful way to use this technology. You've been successful, now big buisness wants your money. As much as I hate to say it American buisness works like a theif in the night. They no longer build things, they steal them when all the work has been done. For instance domain names, any major trademark owns it's name and all possiblevariations of it's name. They don't own this right in the real world, only their name, and in the same buisness sector. On the internet they have sued and filed criminal charges, bankrupted small buisnesses, and now own thousands of domain names based on one trademark. They waited until the internet was worth stealing, then got these rights for chicken feed. ICANN and WIPO, and Federal courts fell all over themselves to give away these large tracks of internet real estate.

If the ops don't pick up the ball, I would suggest we pick up the ball and go with it on our own. The clock is ticking and the corporate welfare receipiants have their greedy little paws extended.
