Affiliates, dont bother advertising here. My story.

I was once a "worthwhile" affiliate and was paid on time (weekly). I have cut back my PPC activity recently and now I havent recieved a aff payment for well over a month. Today I recevieved a "token" payment and was told its less due to chargebacks dating back 6 months.

They operate under www.easy.md amongst others, check for similiar template sites.
YEAH right.

I invite you to resolve this issue....

If resolved, I will retrack my statement. For everybody else who may be doing business with APN or thinging about it, I have been with them for years and never had the need to bash them. Granted they have been slow on occasion but I always recieved my payout.

Another nail in the coffin of the APN affiliate program. . .

Dudemeister here is not being rational... nobody is out to get him, everybody is treated the same. If he gets a lot of chargebacks and wants to blame somebody else for them, that's nobody's problem but his own.

Bro,

Well, I didnt know and Im sure ALL your affiliates dont know they can be on the hook for chargebacks UP TO A YEAR. Im not bashing just stating facts. Like I said, you were showing me much love when I was a producer but not now.

Maybe you dont know it but most all other legit pharmacies price in future chargebacks in current sales. This strategy will help save your affs and also your profit margin.

Hey, as they say, if it walks like a duck and quacks like one....well

Ummm.... most other companies take back your commissions when you have a chargeback. Why would you expect to get paid commission on something that they a) ate the entire cost on; and b) paid a chargeback fee for the pleasure of getting a chargeback? Chargebacks can take forever to hit the vendor. When they get hit, you get hit. Sounds fair to me.

What recourse does an affiliate have when a pharm says, ok...you had ex chargebacks at x dollars. Are you supposed to sit back and say, thanks sir for that "accurate information".

It is commonplace for pharmacies to charge affs chargebacks within 1 month and theyll eat it anything longer. If you didnt know this than maybe youre not doing business with the right pharmacies.

As I told the owner of the pharm, when I was doing substantial business I NEVER got hit with chargebacks. When I didnt do substantial business, I got hit with so called "chargebacks". Why are you thinking the term chargeback is being used legitimately? Maybe it could be a chargeback, maybe it could be...lets FU#K this affilate because he doesnt send me much business these days. If you dont believe aff's get scammed, skimmed or chargebacked, then youre dreaming and need to "go around the blocks a couple times".

Dont let my "jr member" title in this forum fool you....Ive been bent over by pharmacies with the best of them!

I'll vouch for RP and APN.
I've known him for quite some time now and do not believe he is the kind of person that would screw anyone. As far as I'm concerned, I think he's running one of the best programs remaining.

As I have mentioned, I have been with APN for quite some time and never had issue other than the occasional late payments. I even defended him in this forum. I did not post this thread so everyone and their mother would would drop his pharmacy I just wanted to post my experience.

It was just ironic when I slowed down my advertising I get hit with chargebacks going back 6 or more months.

Better yet, all you which have the faith, increase your 7search advertising

JMP your right, I am not an Affiliate of those OP's but I would be very upset if I got charged back fees takin out of my commissions!

Lets look at it this way, we have to eat all the pay per clicks that where denied or canceled. It will only be fair if they could take back charged back fees when we get paid for every click that was turned down. Lets call it advertising expense!......

Another view of this, when you return something you bought from a store do they take that lost from the sales person?

I don't think so!

Well, you think wrong. Of course they do and that is why commissions are normally paid weeks or months after the sale takes place in a retail environment.

I guess it cuts both ways. I can understand for a pharmacy not having to take the FULL brunt of chargebacks. But to assess chargebacks going back 6 months is bullshit! In regards to this pharmacy, I wasnt chargedbacked for maybe a year while I was a "good producer" then I pull way back with my PPC (not going to bid fight on 7search), and I get hit with so called chargebacks. What do you think the profit margins are for pharmacies operating on the net? I wouldnt be surprised if it was 1000's%. So, all a pharmacy has to do is sit back, get a few producing affiliates and make FREE money. We as aff's especially the PPC bore all the advertising risk and pharmacies are just fulfillment centers. Plus if you dont think many pharms skim orders or steal reorders hide in your closet, the easter bunny is coming soon.

Oh well, this space is ripe and ready for "another" crackdown and ALL pharms at that point go by by, with our commissions.

Hey;

I was hit with a charge back 4 months after the fact and get this note;

"The information is correct the discount was for $104.49 this amount includes the FedEx charge, plus the Dr fee for the consultation, also the pharmacy charge for transaction, along with the processing fees from the bank, the main reason this has been processed late is basically that we have tried to contact the customer with no success, therefore we can now assume she was never interested in the medication."

When i asked hi to explain why I had to pay for everything he wrote,.
"Unfortunately, we can not assume charges for orders, if we start doing this we will not maintain ourselves in the business, with charge-backs or returned orders, we need to charge the affiliates with the amounts for each order.

Please accept our apologies for any inconveniences caused."

I would have made $38.90 in commissions !!!

This is from one of the good old guys 3 months ago

I was talking about sales people in stores, department stores for sure! I was one of them, never had a charge back as a sales girl. Everything is included in their retail pricing...over head, rent, electricity, health insurance, insurance for theft, and returns. This is after they price up the $12.99 dress 100 percent to $129.99. I learned this in college (F.I.T, New York).

So it is bull!

Well at least you got them to return emails . It took me 4 emails until I had to just drop them all together. Back end tracking is very poor, I had 3 total on my site the other 2 getting great traffic , orders coming in fine , but my I noticed in the back end system at APN was not even showing hits at all after my 1st week, my 1st month! with them something seriously wrong here , now comeone.. 1500+ hits to the others in 3 weeks ,but none with my APN Affiliate? Finally I get a response almost 3 weeks after my 1st email. There was a linking problem with a URL being embedded wrong in the backend. It was something only the Affiliate Manager could change. His response , He didn't like my tone must be my fault he says, I must of entered the wrong site name, I think I know what my site URL is!!..."and we are too busy to handle little changes like that that" .. WTF is that? When does a customer become the enemy? When they are treated like Who is the customer here? My tone? I am losing traffic and money and you taking up space on my page. We ended up deleting each other , maybe just my bad luck with them, but from reading others , looks like a mix of problems. I am sticking with the great sites I have now that return emails and ensure I get paid and everything is fine. I will give APN the benefit of doubt here... On Vacation for 3 weeks? I really hope they clean up their act and lose the attitudes and get back to what busines , any business should be , About the Customer! Because I am trying to provide a Service for MY CUSTOMERS! And I just don't do business like that.

Let me say it again:

(1) if somebody typed in the wrong URL it is not appropriate for you to repeatedly imply that somebody other than either you or somebody connected to you is at fault. It makes you seem like the child you accuse me of being.

(2) If you mail me six times but five are on a weekend, those five don't count until Monday.

(3) I really did try to help you (as I said in my mails to you) but you had a larger issue (again, as I said in my e-mails) regarding correctly configuring your template. It was FAR from the simple one-line change you seem to think it is.

(4) It was not the simple change you seem to think, because (i) your site had other configuration parameters to change in order to get the configuration correct and (ii) I did not have access to your hosting or colocation account.

So... what's the real reason why I did not rush to help you? Hmmm... let's see? Could it be the fake PharmacyChecker seal on your site? Perhaps the 'best customer service award 2005' graphic for a site registered in December 2007? Or maybe because when I tried to call you I got your voice mail at a mortgage broker company? I loooove me the mortgage brokers, let me tell you.

If you _had_ gotten your config to work, then as soon as we noticed (if we noticed) the fake pharmacychecker seal on the front page of your site we would have banned you anyway. Due to the contrast between what you say you want to do ("its all about the customer") and what you actually do (fake PharmacyChecker seal, "boo hoo APN called me names") I am going to go out on a limb here and say its all good that it didn't work out.

The quote Below is from a "Affiliate Pharmacy Network" Affilate Manager. Am I losing my mind here or what. This guy is a manager? And he wants to promote his site and get business yet he talks to customers the way he does? Read his comment below. He is a JOKE!

APN Affiliate Manager,

You had no problem approving me , infact wanted my business very badly , You contacted ME! And my Pharm checker seal is from my Affiliate of another site I own, this is not the only site I have Sir.You are not approved with them I checked you didn't qualify, you were turned down. I am allowed to USE it and My Suppiers Seals are all accurate as well, all affilaites with Stimu-Cash have those seals as well as my other suppliers, your now trying to come up with excuses to justify your childish ways. So you have no idea what your talking about and I hope all RX Affiliates in this Post SEE HOW YOU TALK TO PEOPLE! It was a Month until you responded! A MONTH of Un returned EMAILS! And from the other posts in here, you don't offer that great of service, you prove it your self by what your saying. I am helping people here, I have had 20 people I have helped on this forum, and asking nothing in return, PM'd me with saying they have got great information that I HAVE HELPED THEM! You want to turn this forum and this thread into a pissin match and again Your doing your own harm, Your only giving yourself a bad reputation.

Mortgage Broker, You hate Brokers??? What are you talking about what does that have to do with a Pharmacy Forum??

I own 3 Poker Sites, 2 Pharmacies and I own a Mortgage Banking Company a really large one in fact, it's not a Brokerage either by the way, do you know the difference? Prob not... , again you know nothing what your talking about what your talking about and AGAIN it's has nothing to do with Your Poor Customer Service. You screwed up , you dropped the ball deal with it and OWN IT ! ANd for gosh sakes grow up would you, I can't believe your allowed to be a Affiliate Manager with the Attitude you have with Customers.

Bottom line you ignored emails over a month, it wasn't a weekend and you only resonded when I said I would go public! You were stealing my traffic and wasting my traffic, 1000's of hits 100's of orders to my other sites and you claim I got 3 hits and no orders from From yours? Who believes that one. You got caugt, you know it and your trying to dig your way out of it by putting it on somehting else all together, Pharm Checker, Seals from 2005?? That never came up before and you know it! You reviewed my site and my site has not changed since you were on it, the only thing has has improved is your OFF OF IT!

Keep on giving APN a bad name, The need to replace you with someone that took a course in Customer Service. Boo Hoo? Again are you 12 ? Why does APN have the Naughty Naughty Pharmacy Reputation in the industry , I didn't start that seems like I said you have issues with several people. I think your the issue not your company! And if you own the company god help all the affilates you have ! Boo Hoo APN called me names? I can't believe you admit that you say that or talk like that? What adult talks like that? What business professional talks like that. Own your short comings and learn from them so you don't lose more Affiliates! My goal was to get your to respond, you made 1st blood and this is not the place for it, but keep diggin yourself a hole, your doing a fine job it it.

I would also like to Apologize to the members of this great forum that they have even had to read a silly arguement between a Affiliate Manager and a Ex-Affilate of that Pharmacy. It has been a learning experience for me, maybe it will help others if anything. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and there are always 2 sides to everything but this went too far in this thread and this forum. I joined by Invite to share Ideas, Network and offer help from my experience and experiences, not to argue with this guy!

I look forward to going back to positive posts and continue talking with you and helping share only my positive experiences and ideas. All those that put in friend requests in Facebook , I have approved you all and your questions have been great, some took my advice and even went further with their own styles and knowledge of marketing and that is why I came here. Some have created groups already on their own and that is so great it's working for you , keep up with the questions , keep growing and challenging your selves! Your on your way to your making your own network on there and I wish you the best of luck and success and I will enjoy watching your groups grow as well as your Traffic to your site.

Have a winning day!

-EF

In case I was wrong about you I took another look at your site.

Taking a closer look I noticed two things:

1) you are linking on the front page of your site to no-Rx Xanax
2) you are soliciting credit card details unencrypted, no SSL

Also, I did not contact you or steal from anyone, perhaps you have me confused me with somebody else. You don't seem too bright. People like you are the downside to no-invitation-required affiliate programs.

Do we live in a world where the management at Facebook have decided that they don't mind their platform being used for the promotion of no-Rx Xanax, where PharmacyChecker doesn't mind if you steal their seal, where Visa doesn't mind if you solicit credit cards in-the-clear, and where its okay for you to say and do whatever you want, to tell outright lie on top of outright lie about other people because you didn't get what you wanted, all with no consequences? I don't think we do.

So I am standing by what I said earlier. I think its good it didn't work out. Good luck to you.

Wow, I can't imagine where all this is coming from...
As far as I'm concerned, APN is one of only a couple good OP's that has survived the OP washout and is one of the best there is. RP here is truly one of the rare good guys in this business and I don't think would ever cheat or rip anybody off, and I've been with them for several years. He may be slow on paying sometime, but he has always paid. And I've always had any email answered in a matter of just a couple hours... so I just can't imagine these complaints are true unless there were other problems...
