What happened to edrugstore.md affiliate support?
I noticed that edrugstore.md has added a couple new prescription drugs to their site, like Fioricet, Generic Ultracet, and Ultram ER, among others. I don't see any quick-buy links in the affiliate campaign section, though. Am I missing something? Looks like they just forgot about us... again.
I emailed their affiliate manager, "Thomas Parker," but I never got a reply. Anyone else know what's up with the edrugstore.md affiliate program?

As most are aware this program is owned by Secure Medical.

Affiliates,
Thank you for all the contributions you have made to date. Unfortunately,
we will be deactivating
mostly all affiliate accounts today, based on a number of factors.
Effective July 1st, 2008;
1) We do not support Controlled Drugs, or Non FDA approved generic drugs
for the USA market. If
you're in support of these drugs, we will make your account inactive today.
2) We do not support web sites that produce a low volume of customer
orders per month. The
accounting and administration involved to process monthly payments does
not warrant keeping
affiliates with less than 10 orders per month. These are orders that are
either new or reorders.
We are now open to advertising opportunities on web sites that wish to be
paid monthly for customer
traffic . Most of you know this as paid links, and Secure Medical has
been doing more of this type
of marketing for the past two years.
Please send me an e-mail to learn more about promoting our web sites.
Thanks,
Jerryr

Interesting their move away from the affiliate model. I guess their bottom line is better going with the measly payout of paid links.

In case you were unaware, for those who haven't switched their links yet they're simply stealing your traffic by using a 301 redirect to bypass the affiliate tracking system. They're still getting your customers, still getting the sale, and simply not paying you.
What follows next is just my personal opinion, and I hope no one minds me sharing.
Every one of the affiliates that Jerry Rao and the clowns at Secure Medical just screwed over, (and for some of us, this now makes Strike 2,) should place edrugstore.md on their "pharmacy to avoid" or "pharmacy blacklist" immediately.
As for sending Jerry an email and begging to please be included in the paid text-link program, ummm... I don't think so. How 'bout a couple dozen slammerific customer complaints (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=edrugstore.md+complaints) instead?

Don't you just love the integrity of these geniuses? "Let's just steal all of their traffic and sales". When I refer to integrity, I'm not just talking about these clowns but all t he ones that have gone on before and stolen affiliate money, then magically appear with a new company but can't pay the old commissions. Wash, rinse repeat and you've got it made.

Thomas Parker always responded and always did the best he could for his affiliates. Its a pity he was given so much stick by some for strategic decisions made by owners and outside of his control. When he was removed this outcome was probably inevitable :(

Well, that certainly is one opinion, and not an opinion I share. The Thomas Parker I knew was a liar and cheat.
I was a top affiliate for his company, and he went out of his way to cause trouble for me with that schizophrenic crackhead he worked for. In the end, he got EXACTLY what he deserved... Short of getting hit by a bus, that is.
I can safely tell you the day that back-stabbing pig was fired I felt no sympathy for him whatsoever.

It is a pity Thomas was given "so much stick," Rick. However, before he left he did take the opportunity to terminate my affiliate account without reason or recourse. Presumably, that was for pointing out that he was completely unresponsive to requests for support and actually did absolutely nothing to help his affiliates.
I happened to notice this morning that BestComparedRx.com still features links to eDrugstore.md.
