some SEO tips for profitable affiliate programs

Hello all, I see some of the newbies here on the forum (like me...) are asking themselves – how do we increase our conversion rate, and get more action (AND more $$...) from our affiliation programs. Well – here is the first tip for today –

Try changing the product's descriptions every now and again.
You will be surprised what an appealing description can do to your conversion rate. Keep up with the changes and see what description results in the best sales.
Keep in mind, your buyers will respond to you using marketing psychology. For instance –
Assuming you are selling via a web page, try using Google analytics in order to find out (among other things), which are the most popular locations on your web page for links. Which are the most pressed links on your web page? Try switching the target pages there and see what happens…

SEO is, in some ways, a form of art…  it demands persistence and patience, and attentiveness to your audience's picks and attributes. Make sure you always update your web pages according to your audience's preferences, and your sales can go sky high!

You're right, you need to pay attention on your audience needs/wants. You can't just put something there and expect anything in return. Remember, as time passes by, the need of your audience may possibly change too.

What you are actually saying, and I couldn't aggree with you more, is that there is no end to good SEO work on affiliate websites (or any website, for that matter... :-) )

When you manage to bring your website to a good SEO spot in your chosen key phrases - you simply MUST keep track both on your audience and changing trends, and on your competition and their business moves online. You MUST make your website not only Googlable, but also interesting to keep in favorites, or to visit more then once. returning traffic and visitor's loyalty is important.

So, SEO is very much like a detective work - and there's never a dull moment :-)

Banner ads from legit related website, or anchor text link from ranked blogs and ezinearticles pieces will give good amount of traffic to your website.
