I typed this, then deleted this and again typed this because I'm not sure how to say this.

MLM has some serious issues both operational and moral. It makes very few people rich at the cost of a very large number of people. So it is not at all looked upon with respect. You'll be better off with online porn instead of online MLM. Both fields have one thing in common that you will not make youfeel proud at what you are doing and you will not have satisfaction with your work even if you are earning good money. Just tell your GF that you are in online porn or MLMand chances are that you will see a very uncomfortable creature in front of you.

Operational issues, there are not many people out their in MLM who will pay their affiliates on time or pay at all. Go with porn or casinos and there are many companies out there that will pay you on time.

If you are looking for diverification then look for something that is legal and respectable. There are many merchants on CJ that I promote. They don't earn me thousands per month but $500 from here and $700 from there all adds up to nice sum in one consolidated check every month. Unlike OPs that have all the legal issues some of the CJ merchants are big companies that are likely to be around for next few years. That is just my unsolicited $0.02.

I got involved in MLM a couple of years agon. Never again, I out a lot of energy in it and annoyed a lot of friends. I wish I had remained focus and stuck to what I know best - good old affiliate marketing. At least I have learnt my lesson.

Selling drugs is OK though? LOL I don't feel good about selling drugs knowing that a good portion of those sales are for recreational/dependency use/abuse.

Tell a stranger you sell drugs online and you will probably get the same reaction as if it were porn. I have gone so far as to stretch the truth into "marketing firm for a national pharmaceutical distribution network" and they didn't catch on. smileys/smiley16.gif

Here is a sobering email I received a while back. I felt better peddling porn than the day I got this plea.

----------------

I would like to take a moment to ask you the legality of allowing any person to order prescription medication on line with an order form that is extremely simple and no verification completed to confirm any of what was said. I happen to know my parent who is 100% addicted beyond control to medication that she takes at least 12 to 14 at a time mixed with other pills and puts herself in a state of practical coma. She is not able to walk, talk or do basically anything. She uses fake names, fake information and lies and deceives on a daily basis to continue to harm herself. She is almost 60 years old and there is not anything anyone can do to help or change her at this point. It is disgusting. Believe me, we have all tried numerous times. She has wrecked every vehicle she has ever driven and put herself in the hospital on more occasions than any one person I have ever known.

If one more shipment comes to our household from this web-site, I will retain an attorney and sue you to the fullest extent of the law and I will not stop until I have shut down or controlled the process of every prescription site available. This is sickening to me that a company can be allowed to do this without any repercussions. It is inexcusable.

When you say "I sell drugs online" then most people are likely to think that you are seling likes of cocaine and marijuana. You should phrase your sentence like "I do marketing of prescription medications for a pharmacy".smileys/smiley2.gif

I'd like to know what your reply was to that person who was threatning to sue you for selling meds to her mom.

This was my reply, phalaris. I never heard back (whew):

Hello

I fully understand what you are going through. Please do not shoot the messenger. I do not condone dependency or abuse. I am only an affiliate and my job is to drive traffic to an online pharmacy with my website. The doctors and pharmacies pay me for the traffic through a medical management company. There is a legitimate need for their services as many people cannot afford health insurance. Dependency is a different issue all together. Although the doctors and pharmacists take every effort to identify abuse, some times clever people like your mother know how to play the game and get their order through. PLEASE call the pharmacy phone number on every prescription bottle you can find and express your concern to the pharmacy and to the doctor that wrote the prescription. His/her name should be on the prescription bottle as well. The doctor is ultimately responsible for writing the prescription. They will take corrective action and make every attempt to prevent abuse of the ordering process.

If I can be of assistance in this matter, please do not hesitate to email back.

I would have freaked out if I got that email - solid reply Redex. Only a couple of my friends know exactly how I make a living online, the rest just know it is through affiliate marketing ( though they don't really understand that !). I certainly haven't told my parents- it would just worry them ! I tell them I work in credit cards and dating sectors etc - which is true but not as much as they think. A couple of years ago I thought of doing a few porn sites but decided against it, I would have treated it like a business but the stigma would have got to me. I have had a go at casinos but being one that has been obessed with gambling in the past (losing money at college that I didn't have to lose) I didn't feel good about it - plus I kept getting winning punters !
