Antibiotics have no effect on viruses, but what's worse is your are helping to create antibiotic-resistant bacteria

    *edit*

But then again, your cold could have weakened you immune system and you do have a bacterial infection in your lungs.

ok, I really wouldn't take them if I wasn't sure I needed them

Whatever happened to Dr.'s calling in prescriptions? Mine wouldn't. I told him I knew what I had cause the pediatrician diagnosed my three kids and I had same, but he wouldn't even call it in without an OV.

How much money would your doctor make if he just called in a script for you? Answer your question?

I know it's all about money, but it would be nice if it was all about me (the patient).

When the docto's take they Hypocritic oath (yes I spelled it that way intentionally) they vow to fleece you for money and your health care comes second. When you visit the doctor or the hospital for the very first time, what is the first question out of their mouth. "How will you be paying, do you have insurance?"
